El-Banna: I will swear in despite Sharaf's decision to fire me

CAIRO: In response to his ousting from his one-day post as Minister of Antiquities, Abdel Fatah el-Banna told Youm7 the Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf did not inform him about the decision of resigning him. El-Banna said he will go to the Ministry of Defense to swear in regardless.
Sharaf informed Egyptian archeologists el-Banna is fired in response to their strike over appointing el-Banna as the Egyptian Minister of Antiquities.
