CAIRO: The Cairo Criminal Court allowed television cameras to enter courtrooms to film the first trial of Anas el-Fiqi, the former Minister of Information and former Chairman of Radio and Television Union, Osama Sheikh. This is the second hearing of the trial of financial corruption against them. The hearing will be broadcast live on national television in the Tagmuu el-Khames. The court's decision to let TV cameras and photographers was the Supreme Judicial Court's recommendation to transfer trials of those accused of corruption and killing the protesters to allow an appropriate number of the public to follow up. The defendants arrived to the courtroom amid tight security after being accused of damaging funds of the Radio and Television Union.
