‘Alshanek Ya Misr' association is holding a campaign with Ramadan Bag. Ramadan is an Islamic holy month when Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. A Ramadan bag is a charity tradition to provide poor people with food in Ramadan. "We must take any chance to help support the Egyptian economy and promote local products," said the vice chairman of the association, Rasha Rashed. "All Ramadan bags are full of Egyptian products such as cooking oil, sugar, beans, tea and other products to help the poor." Rashed said the campaign starts by telling providers of Ramadan bags to use Egyptian products. The campaign aims to announce the importance of encouraging local products to support Egypt's economy.
