CAIRO: The Egyptian Investors Union will hold a meeting to discuss certain issues concerning a piece of land given to Zambia as a gift from the Egyptian government. The land was given by Egypt's Foreign Ministry five years ago, said Abu el-Elaa Abu el-Naga, a member of the union. The land was given as a gift to establish a mall that displays Egyptian products in Zambia. Abu el-Naga said that Zambia's Minister of Trade and Industry called for the union to solve the problem of this 12800 meter land located in the capital of Zambia, Lusaka. Abu el-Naga sees there should be bilateral cooperation between Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Zambia's Ministry of Trade and Industry to demonstrate the ownership of land from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He also sees that such cooperation is necessary to decide whether the land should be owned by a public Egyptian bank in order to establish a mall and sell it to investors. The meeting of the union's board of directors will also discuss the outcomes of the joint meeting between the union and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. The meeting will also examine the prospect of establishing a training center in 10th of Ramadan city to serve and help factories owners.
