CAIRO: Dr. Saifuddin Kharboush, the chairman of the national youth council, will open the first forum for the Nile basin youth on Sunday. The forum will last for a week and will be held in the Civil Education Center in Giza. Egypt will host the forum as a way of supporting cooperation with Nile Basin countries, ensuring cultural ties and exchanging experiences on issues regarding the youth, said Kharboush. He added that the forum aims to exchange experiences in youth fields, activate the role of the youth in Nile basin countries for development, as well as discuss historical ties between Nile basin countries. According to Kharboush, the Youth Forum for Nile basin countries will include visits to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister of International Cooperation and the Strategic and Political Studies Center. It will also hold exhibitions and entertaining programs for the participating countries in the most important touristic and archeological places in Cairo and Giza, added Kharboush.
