Sinai, Egypt: North Sinai officials managed to control the fire that started from the explosion of the gas pipeline that carries Egyptian gas to Israel and Jordan. The explosion took place after the gas was prevented from moving in or out of the station. They also suspended pumping gas to an electricity station in Arish, 2500 houses in Arish, an industrial area in Sinai as well as to exporting pipelines. The governor of North Sinai, al-Sayed Abdel-Wahab, and a number of security and military officials in addition to the official of Gasco Company for petroleum services went to the station that witnessed the explosion.
