Traffic resumed as normal in Cairo's Tahrir Square today as dozens of protesters continued their sit-in for the third day in a row. The number of tents in the square's central garden increased. Chants, speeches, distribution of political information and heated discussion with the families of the martyrs continues. Military police forces retreated to the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior and disappeared completely from Tahrir Square and the streets surrounding it. A group of young people are organizing traffic on the streets leading to the square. The ambulances that had surrounded the square on Friday as a precaution are also noticeably gone. During yesterday's ‘Friday of Retribution' demonstrations, around 10,000 demonstrators left Tahrir Square and moved toward the nearby Ministry of Interior. There were brief clashes with police forces, but the demonstrators returned to the square.
