ARISH, Egypt: Potential presidential nominee Abdel Azim Negm distributed leaflets of his Egyptian election campaign in Arish, Sinai after Friday prayers yesteday. The leaflets included information about his career as a businessman and how he was chosen as Person of the Year by the U.S. institution because he published approximately 170 scientific researches. The election platform includes recognition of the Palestinian State and its capital, Jerusalem. Negm called for the necessity of activating the Arab joint defense convention. The independent nominee also said it is important to benefit from Egypt's bodies of water, to provide houses for people and create a reconstructed society. Negm called to establish a Ministry of Sinai and Upper Egypt Development, to get rid of unemployment, enhance the cooperation between Egypt and Nile Basin Countries and revise the international convention with peoples' opinions. Negm is an engineering professor at Zakazik University. He also is an international attributor. Arabic here
