JERUSALEM: In response to an Egyptian court's verdict against Israeli spies, Yitzhak Meltz, Israeli lawyer for the spy Ouda Tarabin, accused the Israeli government of failure because it cannot release its agents in Egypt. An Egyptian criminal Court of the supreme State security gave a 25-year sentence to spy Tarek Abdel Razak. The same sentence was given in absentia to the Mossad officers Eddie Moshe and Joseph Demor. In an interview with the Israeli Seventh Channel, Meltz condemned the Egyptian authorities for detaining any citizen with Israeli nationality. Meltz called upon the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to negotiate the release of Israeli spies in Egypt, like Ouda Tarabin and Ilan Grapel.
