Youm7 organized a poll asking, “Do you prefer the reform of the Egyptian constitution before holding parliamentary elections?” 47.26 percent voted “No,” 51.28 percent voted “Yes,” and 1.46 percent voted “Don't care.” People who support holding the elections first find they must stick to the poll held by the military council to gather more people to hold the elections before reforming the Egyptian constitution. Meanwhile those who support reforming the constitution first find holding the elections first will give the Muslim Brotherhood and members of the former regime an opportunity to control the elections. So they believe the constitution must reform first.
