Gamal Mubarak, Mohamed al-Baradei, Suzanne Mubarak The Arabic Network for Human Rights Network (ANHRI) announced it is against the lawsuit of wanting to withdraw the Egyptian citizenship from the former Egyptian President's son, Gamal Mubarak, and from the possible candidate for presidency, Dr. Mohamed al-Baradei. ANHRI said in a statement today the ongoing suits demanding withdrawal of the Egyptian citizenship are unjustified decisions, since nationality is a genuine right of human rights and no side can deprive a person of their identity. The ANHRI doesn't accept nationality withdrawal against anyone, even those who committed horrible crimes. ANHRI argued all political conflicts should accept all points of view. ANHRI mentioned it sent a lawyer from its legal support unit for freedom of expression, and announced interference to defend the defendants. He demanded postponing the hearing to announce interfering, pay the fees and to study the case documents. The session was postponed to June 26. Although ANHRI's serious opposition against the former corrupt regime and the Mubarak family, ANGRI stands for their right in a fair trail and as an identity represented in the Egyptian citizenship. Hamed Sadeek, who is famous for filing these kind of law suits, filed one against the former president under article the No. 64/3364 and against the Ministry of Interior affairs with the article No. 64/8672 before the high administrative court. The suits demand the withdrawal of Egyptian nationality from Gamal Mubarak, who has a British citizenship through his mother, Suzanne Thabet Mubarak, without permission from the Ministry of Interior according to citizenship law. Demands also against Dr. al-Baradei because during his rank as director of the IAEA, he disregarded the Israeli usage of nuclear weapons.
