Syrian authorities released the Egyptian citizen, Hossam Faek abdel-Kareem, after he was imprisoned for 20 days. Abdel-Kareem was accused of participating three months ago in the demonstrations in Syria. Diplomatic sources told MENA that Syrian authorities decided to deport abdel-Kareem to Cairo on Monday. Sources show that his mother is Syrian while his dead father was Egyptian. Sources also reveal that his family will follow him later. It should be noted that Syrian authorities deported a number of Egyptians to Cairo due to the recent incidents occurring in Syria.
