CAIRO: The Muslims Brotherhood's Shura Council decided to dismiss Dr. Abdel-Moniem Abul-Fotouh due to his insistence on running in the next presidential elections despite the council's decision on February 20, which prevented its members from nominating themselves in the next elections. The council said the decision was based on the recommendations of the elected investigating committee, which decided to remove his membership from the MB. The MB's Guidance Office decided to refer Dr. Mohamed al-Sayed Habib to the investigating committee, which accepted his resignation from the council considering him as a brother of the group. The council discussed the decisions and activities of the group's central headquarters, the measures that have been taken by the Freedom and Justice Party, the political entity of the MB, along with the recent developments which were witnessed on the satellite channel 'Egypt 25.'
