CAIRO: A court order has stopped implementation of a court ruling to remove the name of Egypt's former president, Hosni Mubarak, from squares and government buildings until an appeal is made by a judge. An earlier ruling called for removal of Hosni and Suzanne Mubarak's names from all public squares, libraries and associations. Lawyer Yousry Abdel Razek, however, asked to stop the court ruling. Mubarak and his wife's names have already been removed from a number of associations, schools and libraries all over Egypt. The ‘Mubarak' subway station has been renamed to ‘Al-Shohadaa,' which translates to the martyrs.
