Lebanon's youth have announced they will join a campaign launched by Egyptian youth to blog against sexual harassment and gender violence. June 20, 2011 has been chosen as the day to blog, tweet and post against sexual harassment in Egypt and Lebanon. All bloggers are asked to blog against assault on twitter all day, in either Arabic or English. The hashtag to be used is ‘#endSH.' Egyptian non-profit organization HarassMap will support and carry out the initiative. HarassMap will collect all blog entries on June 20, 2011 and publish them on the event's page on Facebook. HarassMap and Nazra for Feminist Studies are arranging a seminar entitled, “What comes after the day of blogging against sexual harassment and gender violence in Egypt?” It will be held on Tuesday, June, 21, 2011 at Nazra for Feminist Studies at 44 Talaat Harb St in downtown Cairo. The seminar will explain ways to eliminate sexual assault and other physical and psychological violence against women. Nazra for Feminist Studies launched ‘The Untold Story' initiative in May. The initiative aims to discuss issues considered taboo, and approach them through artistic and cultural ways in an effort to rewrite cultural norms. HarassMap is an organization which aims to map and then confront hotspots of sexual harassment in Egypt
