ARISH, Egypt: The North Sinai Criminal Court passed a death sentence against three Bedouins found guilty of premeditated murder and injuring the victim's brother. Judge Bahaa al-Marri chaired the court while judges Mohammed Nagi and Mohammed Abdelrahman attended. The court verdict was finalized after Egypt's Grand Mufti approved the sentence. All death sentences must be approved by the Grand Mufti before they can be carried out. The defendants killed the victim over a piece of land in Rafah in August.
