Investigations have begun with Anushka Rose, a German national and the second of Egypt's imprisoned former Minister of Interior Habib al-Adly. The Illicit Gains Authority, headed by Judge Asim el-Gohary, has begun investigations with Rose about the sources of her husband's wealth and whether she received any illegally obtained wealth from her husband. Rose went wither her attorney this morning to give statements to Judge Khaled Selim, who is head of the investigations at the authority. It is expected that Rose will sign statements to reveal secret accounts at home and abroad to demonstrate the size and sources of wealth of the former minister.
