Egypt started an experimental process of pumping Egyptian gas through the Arab pipeline to the North Sinai governorate, Jordan and Israel after 45 days of suspension caused by the explosion of Arish's gas pipeline, said a source in the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum. The source clarified the pump process includes pumping small quantities of Egyptian natural gas, which is approximately 25 to 30 percent of the pipeline's capacity. There is an intensive security presence around the pipeline.
