Pope Shenouda III, head of Egypt's Coptic Christian Church, continues to receive well-wishes as he continues his medical treatment in Cleveland Hospital in Ohio. Pope Shenouda received engineer Ansy Sawiris, businessman Naguib Sawiris's father and his wife, Yusrryia Louza, yesterday. Priest Mekhael Edward visited Pope Shenouda as well. Pope Shenouda continues his religious rule beside his medical treatment. He received Father Athnasuos Farg, priest of Martyr Marmarina Church, and Father Antonyous Baky, priest of the Virgin Mary Church in San Francesco. Bishop Demyan came from Germany to express his wishes of recovery for the Pope. Priest Peter Saad, Bishop Botrus and Bishop Polis Church and his wife came from Montreal, Canada to visit the pope. Pope Shenouda also received a phone call from Maj. Gen. Mohamed Saeed el-Assar, Egypt's assistant minister of defense and a member of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. El-Assar expressed his best wishes for the pope's recovery. He also conveyed the best wishes of Field Marshall Hussein Tantawni, head of Egypt's ruling military council. The pope is expected to return to Cairo on Monday via an Egypt Air flight after finishing his medical treatment and religious visits in the United States.
