The people of the Arab world managed to reveal the criminals who ruled them in front of the entire world, said Nabil al-Maghrabi, Egypt's oldest political prisoner. Maghrabi, who was recently released from prison, spoke to the evening talk show Al-Hayat w al-Nas (Life and People). He said he did not try to escape from prison in 1988, for which he was sentenced to another 25 years in prison, although he was imprisoned 33 years ago for political reasons such as criticizing former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Maghrabi said the people can easily differentiate between false claims and true ones.
