ALEXANDRIA, Egypt: Youth in Egypt's Mediterranean city of Alexandria have launched a new campaign to rid the city of thugs. Titled, ‘Let's purify Alexandria of thugs,' the campaign was launched on Facebook. The administrators of the group wrote that their aims are not only to purify Alexandria but also all of Egypt's governorates from thugs, and to grant their help to those who need it. The group aims to put forth awareness among the youth by communication and exchanging point of views for Egypt's stability and security. Security has become an important concern for Egypt in the wake of the January 25 Revolution.
