Nubian Day at Badrakhan Library

Nubian Day will be hosted by Badrakhan Library on June 9 from 1:00 until 11:00 P.M. The day will begin with an exhibition featureing handicrafts made from raw materials from Nubia, Nubian furnishings and local Nubian clothes.
The cultural and artistic program begins at 6:00 P.M. and includes a Nubian wedding ceremony and a symposium on Nubian culture.
There will also be sections devoted to Nubian food and makeup, including a section for henna painting. The Nubian day will end with a concert by a Nubian band.
Badrakhan Library is located on Haram St.
