kol of Israel: The Israeli Army is on alert and has intensified its presence all over Israel for the 44th anniversary of Six-Day War, particularly in Jerusalem and on the borders with the Palestinian and Arab Countries. Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians gathered in Golan Heights in “Talit el-Sayhatt,” near the Israeli borders, where the Israeli troops dug a trench and barbed wires on the border to prevent any infiltration to Israel from the Syrian side. The army said Golan Heights is a closed military zone. The Israeli Ministry of Education halted the study in the school today near Golan Heights. In Lebanon, the Palestinian community canceled a march near the Israeli border after the Lebanese decided to close the area. Although Palestinians in Lebanon and Syria cancelled their marches, the Israeli army continued enhancement of its presence. Yedioth Ahronoth: Thousands of Israelis demonstrated in “Rabin” square, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognize the Palestinian state under 1967 borders. Israeli Labor party and other parties participated in the march. They chanted “Netanyahu said no and we say yes for Palestinian State.” In other news, Yedioth Ahronoth said Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas embarrassed Netanyahu by agreement on the French initiative for peace. The Israeli prime minister will consider the initiative, according to Israeli minister and member of the Knesset Gilad Erdan. Maariv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has indirectly sent a threatening message to Syria, Lebanon, and the Palestinian Authority, saying if there is any violation to Israeli borders Middle East region will witness a dramatic change. He added Israeli response will be a military option. Haartez: French foreign minister Alain Marie Juppé warned Netanyahu of solid state continuation in peaceful process and it could drive to France to recognize Palestine as a full member in United Nations.
