CAIRO: Italian authorities arrested 135 illegal Egyptian immigrants on Thursday, including 41 minors, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Egyptian Foreign Minister and Assistant for Consular Affairs, Mohammed Abdel-Hakam, said that around 33 of the arrested have escaped from the Italian detention stations. Abdel-Hakam said the Italian authority agreed to deport around 52 citizens who will not face prosecution in Egypt. Italy investigated with two immigrants accused of organizing illegal immigration to Rome. Abdel-Hakam warned Egyptians of illegal immigration, and said that suspects of it could face legal punishments in accordance with international European laws.
