CAIRO: Egyptian press reports the General Prosecution's decision to not transfer Mubarak to Torah Prison Hospital due to his bad condition. Newspapers also reported Egypt economy's situation since stock exchange lost U.S. $4 billion. Youm7: Daily newspaper Youm7 reported the investigations of the Iranian diplomat who is accused of spying in Egypt and revealing collected information about military and economic institutions. He is also accused of recruiting agents to achieve Iranian Revolutionary army's scheme in Cairo after the January 25 Revolution. Dozens of Coptic Christian organized a protest against disappearance of Coptic girl called Jacqueline Ibrahim (18). The protest took place at al-Ordoniya Square in Asher Ramadan City, where demonstrators chanted against the slow rate of the security officers finding out what happened to her. Al-Ahram: State-run newspaper Al-Ahram said Saudi Arabian Ministry of Labor denied the statement that the minister isn't renewing contracts of Egyptian workers in Saudi Arabia. Police officers went back to their duties in the streets for security, according to the assiant of the Minister of Interior, Mohsen Mourad. Al-Akhbar: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf assured that the government supports farmers, calling on the Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit to exert efforts to achieving self-sufficiency of production of grains, oil crops, and fodder. Al-Wafd: Egyptian stock buyers failed to rescue the stock exchange loss as the “EGX 30” index went down by 1.11 percent to reach at 5528 point. The loss is estimated at around $4 billion. Meanwhile, Military committee and monitoring agencies made a draft to call to appoint a chairman for the police sector. The chairman should not belong to the sector and he also should organize people committees. Al-Masry Al-Youm: Former Minister of Defense Abdel Hakim Amer's son revealed that General Prosecutor started investigation on his father's death last September, noting that Mubarak refused to re-investigat the case. Al-Dostor: Egyptian Minister of Heath, Ashraf Hatem said around 170,000 people died annually because of smoking. He added 30 percent of patients suffer from smoking and the Ministry of Health bears approximately 4 billion EGP (U.S. $673.3 million) costs in treatments. In other news, Chairman of the Judges Club Zakaria Abdel Aziz condemned three judges to Disciplinary Court because of their statements against the Military Courts and judges. He said this concerns a violation to human rights and freedom of expression. Al-Shorouq: Illicit Gain Authority chaired by Essam al-Gohari refused the petition filed by former Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif on profiteering. Al- Gomhorreya: The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces's (SCAF) chairman Hussein Tantawi met Tuesday with Dr. Ahmed Zewail to discuss Zewail city project for science and technology. Tantawi initially agreed on the project. Cairo Criminal Court rejected the petition submitted by former Spokesman of the People's Assembly Fathi Sorour, who is imprisoned and accused of ‘the Battle of the Camel' case. Arabic here
