Leaders of the Israeli Mossad military experts and strategic analysts in Israel are warning of the danger of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to the security of the state. They described the group as a greater threat to Israel than an Iranian nuclear bomb if they gain power in Egypt after the fall of former President Hosni Mubarak's regime. Jerusalem Post reported former head of the Mossad, General Chepetay Shavit and leaders of military and strategic analysts such as Dr. Haim Asa, a former political adviser to the former Prime Minister of Israel Yitzhak Rabin, are concerned about the threat the MB in Egypt poses on Israel's security. For them, the MB coming to power means the establishment of an Islamic state that will be governed by Sharia, and that will strive to destroy Israel. Israeli analysts think the MB has a good chance of coming to power given that it's the most powerful and organized political organization in Egypt. They also fear the increased strength that the group got after the fall of the former regime's police and institutions that were suppressing organizations. Arabic here
