CAIRO: Five committees of Suez National Dialogue met on Sunday to discuss their duties. The Dialogue includes members of democracy and human rights committee, social human development committee, financial and commercial committee, culture and religious dialogue committee, media committee, and Egyptian foreign affairs after the January 25 Revolution committee. The five committees recommended several demands including postponing the parliamentary elections for a year and putting a new constitution suitable for Egyptian classes to represent all Egyptians. The committees also asked to cancel the Shoura Council, which has no activism in political life or of women quota. They demand the parliamentary elections to be chosen without bias through a list of Proportional Representation (PR). Democracy Committee member Hoda Ibrahim called to change the Municipal law and demanded questioning all statesmen, as well as canceling 50 percent of labor and farmers seats. Social Human development committee member Reda Mabrouk said there will be files concerning heath, education, housing, sports, security and discussions for all these issues. He called to merge the Ministry of Heath with Heath Insurance Organization, and to develop high education in Suez. The committees called to establish faculties of medicine and nursing. Regarding housing, the committees asked for amending the Tender Law and a high education regulation. As for the committee of Egyptian foreign affairs after the revolution, it will separately tackle issues concerning the Palestinian case, Rafah border crossing, Nile Basin country crisis, Sudan crisis, as well as Egypt's situation with Iran, Turkey, the U.S., and the EU. The committee concerning the media asked for credibility in reports not to mislead social awareness and to connect to every citizen all over Egypt. Meanwhile, the economic and financial committee asked for economic rehabilitation , and the importance of governmental sector role to develop the infrastructure, especially re-building the marine and commercial fleets. The committee also calls for a development project in the west north of Suez. Chairman of the Dialogue said committees of social human development and economics will be done with their work on Tuesday. Then a conference will be held to discuss all outcomes of the committees. The Suez Governor Mohammed Abdel Moneim Hashem attended the dialogue and praised any organization that aims to build Egypt.
