Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said Egypt is willing to host celebrations by the World Tourism Organization on World Tourism Day. He said this will be an excellent opportunity to highlight Egypt's potential in the industry of tourism. Abdel Nour also intends to invite celebrities to participate in the event. He said at a press conference on Sunday with Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai that he and Rifai have been in touch since their first meeting at the Berlin Stock Exchange, and they had discussed what would benefit tourism in Egypt, particularly regarding international relations and dealing with the Western media.
