CAIRO: Egyptian academic Amr Hamzawy intends to launch a new initiative including all political powers to discuss the anchors of the civil state in Egypt. Hamzawy said Egypt Freedom party welcomes cooperation with other political trends. He said his party is not a rival of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) or any opposition party so long as all those parties adhere to social justice and market economy. Regarding the phobia of Islamic trends in Egypt, Hamzawy said democracy is not practiced with fear. The Muslim Brotherhood will be invited for talks as long as it says its members are not against a civil state in Egypt. Hamzawy warned of religious division and called for not scattering the vote across liberal blocs. Hamzawy added that the Egypt Freedom Party will issue its platform after holding regular dialogues all over the governorates to choose the best nominees. The tour of party will start Friday in South Sinai.
