CAIRO: The Arabic Capital Markets Association (ACMA) proposed amending capital executive regulation No.95/1992, which would benefit stock markets, ACMA chairman Ahmed Younis said. Younis said the proposal gained the admiration of workers in the field but has not been discussed yet. He also submitted the proposal to the Cabinet and tried to meet the chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, Ashraf al-Sharqawi, to discuss the proposal, but his attempt was in vain. According to Younis, this project tackles all the problems the Financial Supervision system faces and revises Supervisory Authority reports on stock companies. It also considers investors' complaints, revealing forging incidents and manipulation in shares and bonds in the Egyptian Stock Market.
