CAIRO: House of al-Senary of Alexandria Library will host an opening of a youth salon in Cairo today at 5 p.m. The salon aims to open the door for Egypt's youth to express their ideas, aspirations and visions for a better future. It also provides them with an opportunity to present their scientific, literary and artistic ideas. The opening reception will start with introducing the salon, its objectives and activities. It will also hold a discussion on how the youth can develop the salon. The salon will present examples of promising Egyptian youth. The salon will show a movie about the former Egyptian president Anwar Sadat, with a commentary from Ahmed Al-Menesy. There will be a presentation of national songs such as ‘Masritena,' written and composed by the youth of the January 25 Revolution. here
