WADI AL-GADID, Egypt: Wadi al-aGadid governorate started a national campaign to plant maize. The four-year-plan is the first of its kind campaign to enhance agriculture in Egypt. The governorate chose eight fields in Paris and al-Kharga to plant maize to increase the output of animal feed and to reduce import of food oil from other countries, according to Wadi al-Gadid's Agricultural Guidance office Chairman.
