QENA, Egypt: Demonstrators in Qena governorate are calling for a million-man demonstration on Friday. They are calling the day, ‘Friday of dignity and the people's will.' The demonstrators ended their sit-in in front of Qena railway on Monday after the decision to halt the duties of recently-appointed Governor Emad Shehata Mikhail for three months. Transportation resumed as normal after being halted by the protesters. Duties of the governorate were handed over to General Secretary of the Governorate Magid Abdel Kareem.
