Ahli player ratings against Corinthians
Published in FilGoal on 13 - 12 - 2012

Sherif Ekrami (GK): 6
Hardly had a shot to deal with throughout the 90 minutes and was not to blame for the goal conceded.
Ahmed Fathi (RB): 7
Guilty of a glaring miss in the second half but almost owned the right flank with a commanding display that made life difficult for Fabio Santos.
Wael Gomaa (CB): 6
The Rock has seen better days in defense as a moment of uncertainty allowed an unmarked Paolo Guerrero to head in the only goal of the game.
Mohamed Naguib (CB): 6
Had a quiet game dealing with the innocuous Brazilian frontline.
Ahmed Shedid (LB): 7
A much better performance from the left-back whose workrate, passing and defending remained constant during the 90 minutes. Probably Shedid's best game since re-joining Ahli.
Hossam Ashour (DM): 6
Seemed to be struggling when Corinthians were in control in the first half and was hardly involved in his team's second-half stranglehold at the other end.
Rami Rabiea (CM): 8
An incredible performance from the teenager who replaced Hossam Ghaly in midfield and was even more active than the skipper in terms of goal menace.
Considering the fact he is just 19, Rabiea's passing, positioning, physical presence and attacking contribution was terrific against a team of Corinthians distinction.
Walid Soliman (LM): 6
Like most of his teammates, Soliman significantly improved in the second half especially in attack, but overall no Ahli player gave away the ball more than he did.
Abdullah Al-Saied (RM): 5
To his standards, it was another unimpressive performance from the talented midfielder and it would be surprising if he kept his place in the starting line-up in the third-place match.
Al-Sayed Hamdi (FW): 6.5
His dribbling away from the box was not bad but still he has been anything but effective on goal.
Geddo (FW): 6
As Ahli's lone forward, he is the first to be questioned for the fact that his team only had one shot on target throughout the 90 minutes.
His movement was also ineffective as he has usually been stifled by the opponents' defenders.
Mohamed Abou-Treika (AM): 7.5
Ahli looked a totally different side when the legendary number 22 came on after the break.
Incisively Created the best chance of the game for Fathi and his liveliness and creativity in midfield kept the Brazilians at their own half for a long time.
