Esperance manager Nabil Maaloul believes Ahli and his side have equal chances to win the Champions League as he stressed that there is no room for complacency following a 1-1 first-leg draw. The Tunisians were denied victory by a late equalizer from Al-Sayed Hamdi, but the away draw makes them favorites to retain their title. Maaloul, however, is convinced that both sides' chances of winning remain equal despite Esperance's away-goal advantage. “We are still under pressure; the chances in the return leg are 50-50," the former Tunisia coach said. “The result of this game – the first leg – means nothing. “The scenario of Ahli's previous final win against Sfaxien – when Abou-Treika won the game for his team in the last minutes – is still fresh in the memories. “We must maintain our composure and concentration and score in Tunis; we shouldn't turn complacent after this result." Two-time champions Esperance take on Ahli on November 17 as they only need a clean sheet at Rades Stadium.
