Ahmed Elmohamady helped Hull City come from Bristol with a 2-1 victory in the English Championship, whereas Adam El-Abd's Brighton drew at Blackpool. Egypt full-back Elmohamady played 90 minutes and was involved in the buildup to both of his team's goals, scored by Sone Aluko and Stephen Quinn. Elmo, whose side have now moved up to sixth place, was booked near the end fir dissent. Elsewhere, Egypt international defender El-Abd also played the whole game in Brighton's 1-1 draw at Blackpool. El-Abd's team saw an Ashley Barnes strike cancelled out by Elliott Grandin to secure an away point. The center-half was also handed a yellow card in the second half for a foul. Brighton are 10th in the Championship table.
