Egyptian defender Adam El-Abd scored a rare goal to help Brighton move to the top of the English Championship. The long-serving Brighton center-half netted the second of his team's 2-1 win over Millwall after Ashley Barnes had broken the deadlock. The win sends Brighton top on 17 points, two ahead of Blackburn who lost their first game of the season to Middlesbrough on Friday. Egypt full-back Ahmed Elmohamady plays with Hull City on Sunday against Leicester, with a chance to join Brighton on top if they win. El-Abd and Elmohamady have both been called up for Egypt's friendlies against Iran and Tunisia next month.
