Ahli's international players have been allowed to stay with the club and will accordingly miss Egypt's friendly game against Tunisia. Ahli said on their website that Egypt coach Bob Bradley has agreed to leave the players out of the October 16 game in order to give them time to prepare for the Champions League semi-final second leg five days later. The Reds, who are on a 3-3 draw with Sunshine Stars of Nigeria ahead of the return leg, have six players in the Egypt squad for the friendlies against Congo and Tunisia. Sherif Ekrami, Ahmed Fathi, Hossam Ghaly, Hossam Ashour, Walid Soliman and Mohamed Abou-Treika were all named in Bradley's roster. However, Abou-Treika is likely to join the national team in the UAE camp as he is banned by his club for the game against Sunshine.
