Egypt's World Cup qualifying rivals Zimbabwe and Mozambique are on the verge of making it to the CAN 2013 finals with two impressive wins. In Harare, Zimbabwe claimed a 3-1 victory over Angola courtesy of an own goal from Bastos and two goals by Khama Billiat and Archford Gutu. Zimbabwe are Egypt's next opponents as both teams clash in the third game of Group G next March. A more impressive victory was registered by Mozambique, who downed Morocco 2-0, with Almiro Lobo and Elias Pelembe on target. Guinea, who also compete with Egypt in the World Cup qualifiers, will host Niger later on Sunday. Second legs take place a month later as winners qualify directly to the South Africa finals.
