Berekum Chelsea have confirmed that the Champions League clash against Ahli will be held in Accra as initially planned. The Ghanaian debutants suddenly changed venue from Accra to Kumasi a few days before the game, much to the dismay of their Egyptian visitors. As Ahli vowed to call on CAF, the African football governing body was quick to inform Chelsea that the game will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium. “I can confirm we have been told to play in Accra and therefore we have no other option but to obey," Chelsea's Chief Executive Officer Nana Kwame Nketia told GHANAsoccernet.com. Idan return Meanwhile, Chelsea are boosted by the return of striker Bismark Idan who was released by Turkish side Goztepe one year after joining from the Blues. “Idan (Bismark) is cleared to play," the club's Accra Representative Nana Oduro-Sarfo confirmed to Accra-based Asempa FM. “We have registered him and he will play." Idan, 23, was the joint top-scorer of the Ghanaian league in 2009-2010.
