Egypt are set to play a friendly game with Saudi Arabia in London next month, assistant manager Diaa Al-Sayed has revealed. “We've received several proposals for friendly games from Saudi Arabia, Libya, China and Uruguay," Al-Sayed – the assistant of head coach Bob Bradley – said. “Up until now, we have only accepted the Saudi offer to play a friendly on September 9 in London." Egypt, who meet Oman in a friendly on Wednesday, have their next competitive game in March 2013 after being unexpectedly eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Similarly, Gulf giants Saudi Arabia have failed to make the 2014 World Cup final qualifying stage and have no competitive matches in the near future.
