Swiss side Basel registered a 2-0 victory at Estonia's Flora Tallinn in the Champions League qualifying round two, in the absence of Egypt forward Mohamed Salah. Two goals from veteran striker Alexander Frei were enough for the Swiss champions to secure a first leg away win in the competition's preliminaries. Egypt starlet Salah had to wait for his competitive debut as he is still nursing a shoulder injury, with the return game taking place next week. Salah is also unlikely to feature in the second leg as he joins the Egypt Olympic team at the London Games, which kick off on July 26.
