Ahli trio to return to club if Egypt advance

Ahli trio Mohamed Abou-Treika, Ahmed Fathi and Emad Meteb will be forced to leave the Egypt Olympic team after the group stage of the London Games.
The senior trio was named in Egypt's final roster for the Olympics, where the young Pharaohs will take on Brazil, New Zealand and Belarus on July 26, 29 and August 1.
But Egyptian champions Ahli have a home fixture against Berekum Chelsea in the Champions League a few days after the Belarus game in Glasgow.
“I have an agreement with Hany Ramzy (Olympic team coach) to keep the three players for the game against Zamalek (July 21)," Ahli boss Hossam Al-Badri told FilGoal.com.
“We also agreed that the trio will return to Ahli after the last group game in case Egypt qualified for the next round."
