Mohamed Salah scored in the fifth minute of injury time to give Egypt a thrilling 3-2 victory over Guinea in a World Cup qualifier in Conakry. A pulsating game at Stade du 28 Septembre saw the hosts take a first-half lead via an Abdoul Camara penalty. Mohamed Abou-Treika equalized for Egypt before the hour mark before completing the comeback with a spot kick in the 67th minute, which also witnessed the expulsion of goalkeeper Naby Yattara. Egypt looked set for a vital away win, only for substitute Alhassane Camara to come out of nowhere and score a wonder leveler for Guinea two minutes from the end. But Salah made sure Egypt had the final word with the winner deep into stoppage time. Egypt retain top spot in Group G with six points from two games, while Guinea remain second on three. Slow start...mouth-watering end Egypt conceded a 19th minute penalty when Hosni Abd-Rabou fouled Ibrahima Traore, allowing Camara to beat Al-Hadari from the spot. The second half was increasingly thrilling as Abou-Treika grabbed a deserved equalizer for Egypt on 58 minutes, volleying home a fine cross by Ahmed Temsah. Nine minutes later, Egypt were ahead and had Guinea keeper Yattara to thank for a moment of madness that saw him karate-kick Abd-Rabou despite holding the ball. Referee Neant Alioum did not hesitate to send the keeper off and point to the spot as Treika hit his second from 12 yards. The ten-man Guinea ventured forward but Egypt looked solid in defense until the 88th minute. Bob Bradley's men could do nothing but watch Bangoura waltz around three players before beating Al-Hadari with a superb low shot. Both teams looked settled for a draw but the visitors hit the killer goal when Salah latched onto a slick pass by Mohamed Zidan before curling home past the hapless substitute keeper Abdul-Aziz Keita.
