Ahli striker Fabio Junior is facing a month on the sidelines after tearing his thigh muscle in a friendly game with MCDR, the club said on their website. Ahli doctor Ihab Ali confirmed that the Brazilian, who was on target before limping off the match, needs at least one month to recover from the injury. Junior is now certain to miss both Champions League round of 16 legs against Stade Malien. After a poor start with the Red Devils riddled by form and fitness problems, the 28-year-old began to impress lately having scored one goal and set up another in the 3-0 Champions League win over Ethiopian Coffee. He has been spending much time on the physioroom with various injuries though, along with the team's other foreign striker Dominique da Silva.
