Ahli duo Emad Meteb and Wael Gomaa have been confirmed out of the Reds' Champions league round of 32 fixture against Ethiopian Coffee due to injury, while Mohamed Barakat should make the squad. Meteb and Gomaa had been suffering with back and calf complaints respectively and will join Mauritanian forward Dominique da Silva on the sidelines. “Meteb, Gomaa and Dominique do not have much of a chance to be fit for the Ethiopian Coffee match,” Ahli doctor Ihab Ali told FilGoal.com. Meanwhile, star midfielder Barakat, Geddo and Hossam Ashour should be fit for the six-time-African champions' squad for the tie on March 23. “Barakat has recovered from injury while Geddo's and Ashour's complaints proved to be not worrisome,” Ali added. Barakat, 35, sustained an ankle injury in training a week ago, while Geddo and Ashour were nursing hamstring and groin complaints respectively.
