Egypt manager Bob Bradley voiced his satisfaction with the team's recent training camp in Sudan that included two friendlies with African minnows Uganda and Chad. The national team, who gear up for the CAN and World Cup qualifiers in June, edged Uganda 2-1 before walloping Chad 4-0 few days later as Bradley seems unconcerned by the low caliber of the continental opponents. “I am happy with the Sudan training camp,” Bradley said after the win over Chad. “On the personal level, I got to know the players better as I was able to determine the shortcomings that we need to tackle in the upcoming period. “Neither the opponents' names nor their stature is important; what we needed to focus on is creating a personality for the team and improving our performance. “Amid the lack of domestic football, such games are deemed of the utmost importance. “It was a successful camp; the matches we played against Uganda and Chad proved that we are preparing well for the Nations Cup and World Cup qualifiers.” Egypt are poised for a much tougher challenge against Nigeria this month as the FA has yet to confirm the meeting.
