Ahli have refused to acknowledge the sanctions imposed by the Egyptian FA in the wake of the Port-Said disaster and are set to call on FIFA to judge on the issue. The Cairo giants were obviously dismayed with the verdict announced by the FA's temporary board regarding Egypt's worst-ever sporting incident. A two-season ban - including the already inactive 2011/2012 campaign - against Port-Said side Masri was anything but accepted by Ahli, who lost more than 77 fans after the ill-fated game on February 1. Following a board meeting on Monday, Ahli revealed a number of decisions at a press conference, including their 'total rejection to the decisions of the FA's temporary board as well as boycotting all events under its supervision'.
