Zamalek star Shikabala appreciates the initiative made by Ahli fans to patch up a long history of mutual enmity, in the wake of the Port-Said disaster. The Egypt international, who visited Ahli to offer his condolences following the tragic death of 74 supporters in a match at Masri last week, welcomed a gesture made by Ahli fans on Facebook. The Reds' fans created a group with the title ‘We are sorry Shika', referring to a series of taunts that had been targeting the Zamalek number 10 for several years. “I am happy with such a group,” Shikabala was quoted as saying by Zamalek's website. “Despite the cruelty of what happened in Port-Said, the disaster helped uniting the fans of all clubs. “I think it could be a turning point in the elimination of fanatic supporting.”
