Zamalek have appointed goalkeeping coach Ayman Taher in place of Ahmed Soliman, the club's website said. Coach Soliman, who used to work with Hassan Shehata during his Egypt stint, reportedly abandoned his post due to financial problems with the board even though he cited ‘personal reasons' behind his sudden exit. Veteran goalie Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed assumed the coaching role all during that period but now Taher, a former Zamalek keeper, is set to be in charge after ending his tenure at Police Union. Zamalek resume league action against ENPPI on Friday following a one-week break.
